Is there contact

Yes we do contact sparring. Defensive moves are taught for months first & then, when ready protective equipment is worn with the coach organising drilled sparring. Drilled sparring is were the coach sets the combinations at a slow & soft pace of approx 30% so both sides understand what's coming and how to defend it, that is how we learn. You're also welcome to learn without contact & no expectation to spar.
